HURST -- John Sylvester Connor Jr., 52, passed away at 5:29 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, in Herrin Hospital.
John was born Oct. 11, 1959, in Christopher, to John Sylvester Connor Sr. and Betty Norene Tindall.
He married Jenny Lee Dill on Nov. 15, 1980, in Zeigler, where they shared 31 years of marriage.
Survivors include wife, Jenny Lee Connor; son, Jason Lee Connor; daughter, Betty Nichole Connor and mother, Betty Dial.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Sylvester Connor Sr.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at Walker Funeral Home in Hurst, with family and friends speaking. Interment will be in Harrison Cemetery in Mulkeytown. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
