Carlton "Smoky" Laubach, 73, of 360-B W. Fifth St. and formerly of Market Street, Bloomsburg, died Sunday at the Geisinger Medical Center.
Born May 1, 1916, in Benton, he was the son of the late Clay and Liddy Rilla Hurliman Laubach.
He was a shipping supervisor at Magee Carpet Co. retiring in 1981 after 40 years.
He was a 1934 graduate of Bloomsburg High School, a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, a member of the Bloomsburg Elks Lodge and a life member of the Winona Fire Co.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, the former Rachel M. Miller; a son, Stephen C. Laubach; a grandson; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Greise, York; and a brother Ord Laubach, York.
Services will be announced by the Allen Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Bloomsburg.
