Wilma Brindley Torgerson, 90, of Koosharem, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 .

She was born, July 23, 1921 in Greenwich, Utah to Cebron Arthur and Lois Ruth Walbeck Brindley.

She married Charles Ivan Torgerson, July 10, 1940 in Richfield. The marriage was solemnized January 25, 1955 in the Manti Temple. He preceded her in death February 25, 1999.

She had great faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, and was an active member of the LDS Church, serving faithfully where ever she was asked. She worked in the genealogy extraction program for many years. She was on the Koosharem Old Folks Committee for 14 years, where she and Ivan served as chairman for 3 years.

She loved visits from her grand and great-grandkids. She enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids participate in sports and was an avid Utah Jazz fan.

Mom learned to cook from her mother. It was a favorite family thought that she could make a wonderful meal from a dishrag.

She is survived by children, Chad (Anne) Torgerson of Koosharem, Coleen (Wells) Bagley of Loa, Vione (Tom) Migel of Rexburg, ID, Kendall (Dayna) Torgerson of Circleville, Tony Torgerson of Elsinore; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Dawn (Afton) Blood of Angle; sister-in-law, Lula DeLong of Moab.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Don Ivan and sisters, Gail (Cyrus) Coates, Opal (Ruben) Torgersen, Regina (Herbert) Torgerson, Beth (Scott) Gleave.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield Friday evening from 6 to 7 and at the ward chapel in Koosharem on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Burial will be in the Koosharem Cemetery
