Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting, cutting wood, Cardinal ballgames (and heated discussions of the managers skills and the players lack of them), playing with the grandchildren, walking in the woods. He lived most of his life in Missouri except for five years which he and his wife, Julie, lived on the coast of Alabama. Jack had a small orchard of citrus trees, walked the beaches collecting shells, weathered two severe hurricanes, went deep-sea fishing, trapping for crab, and enjoyed visiting the old plantations.
Jack Bouse is survived by his wife of the home: Judith (Julie) Bouse of St. James, Mo.; daughters: Deanna Wiggins and husband Michael of Ardmore, Alabama, Phyllis Lacy and husband Terry of Lonedell, Mo.; Susan Ealer and husband Jimmy of Steelville, Mo., Maria DeBord and husband Steven of St. James, Mo., Rita Carpenter and husband Daniel of St. James, Mo., brother: Tom Bouse and wife Ruby of Cuba, Mo., sisters-in-law: Joyce and Jane Bouse of Steelville, Mo., Hallie Bouse of Tipton, Mo., Ann Howdeshell and husband Gary of Beaver Creek, Ohio, brother-in-law Charlie Howdeshell of Decatur, Texas; mother-in-law: Lucy Howdeshell of Decatur, Texas, thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
