LOGAN - Funeral services were held from the Yeaman Funeral Home Sunday for Daniel Whitney who died last Thursday at his home in Magnolia. The services were conducted by the Rev. George Dimmitt of the Methodist Church and burial was in the Magnolia Cemetery.
Born in Massachusetts, he had been a resident of the Magnolia vicinity for the last 22 years.
He is survived by his widow, Jennie Whitney; three daughters, Ethel Crom of Pasadena, Calif., Sara McCarty of Logan and Hazel Johnson of Des Moines; three sons, Ralph of San Francisco, Everett of Montieth, Ia., and Daniel, Jr., who is with the armed forces; 15 grandchildren and 18 grandchildren.
