Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial 'Survivor Tree'

After the April 19, 1995 tragedy, the tree rapidly became a symbol of hope to family members who lost loved ones in the bombing, as well as survivors of the blast, and the name "Survivor Tree" was adopted.
