Lyle George Hoffman died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Cheyenne following a lengthy illness. He was the son of Willard and Lulu Mae (Drohman) Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman served in the Army in 1946-47 and was stationed in Alaska. He married Joyce Blackwell in 1955 in Raton, N.M. They divorced in 1960. He is survived by sons Lyle Virgil Hoffman of Denver, Kevin Kent Hoffman of Commerce City, Colo., and Boyce Dean Hoffman of Scott City, Kan.; brother Gerald Hoffman of Douglas, sister Vada (Wilson) Graham of Hope, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and a close companion, Doris Hildebrand of Douglas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lois (Lull)Hall; and a brother, Melvin of the home ranch. (Information was obtained from his obituary and cemetery records.)
