Funeral services for Emil Vornsand,49,have been set for Thursday,Feb.17,at 2 p.m. at Hubbard Funeral Home.

Mr.Vornsand,ill for sometime,died early Wednesday at his home.He had been employed by Norbert Stech,masonry contractor.

Emil Vornsand,49,Succumbs to Long Illness

Emil A. Vornsand,49-year-old brick mason,died at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday,Feb.16,at his home,after about a year and a half of illness with cancer in the bronchial area.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Hubbard Funeral Home,with Rev.F.H. Horak Jr. officiating.

Mr.Vornsand had been a lifelong Weimar area resident and was a World War II veteran,his service included some time in England.

Born April 23,1916,in the Wildwood community,he was a son of Willie G. and Frieda Hartmann Vornsand.He married Miss Lillie Cernoch on July 29,1942.

Pallbearers were Edwin Kunz,Irddie J. Vornsand,Harvey Vornsand,Kervin Vornsand,Fred G. Vornsand Jr.,and Buddy Vornsand.
