Foster R. Marlow of RFD 4, Mt Vernon died at 10:30 p.m. yesterday--five minutes after he entered Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 56 years, ten months, and 15 days old.
He was a well known farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. Sunday at Myers Chapel with the Rev. Max Woods and the Rev. Bird Green officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
The body will lie in state at Myers Chapel where friends may call after 2:00p.m. tomorrow.
Mr. Marlow was born June 27, 1903, in Jefferson county, the son of Logan and Minnie (Edmison) Marlow.
In Mt. Vernon on June 30, 1923, he was married to Mildred Logan, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, Wendell Marlow of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Scott and Mrs. Frieda Johnston, also of Mt. Vernon a brother, Earl Marlow of Opdyke; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Marlow was a member of the Lebanon Missionary Baptist church.
