Final Rites for Mrs.W. Vornsand,76,Held Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs.Frieda Vornsand,76,widow of the late Willie G. Vornsand,were held Saturday afternoon,July 11,at Hubbard Funeral Home.Rev.Charles Bawel officiated.
Mrs.Vornsand,who had been in ill health about two years,died at her home Friday after a heart attack.
Born April 27,1883,in Germany,she came to this country with her parents,Mr. and Mrs.Anton Hartmann,when she was 4 years old.The family settled at Holman.She was married to Mr.Vornsand in 1902,and they spent the rest of their lives in this area.Mr.Vornsand died in 1954.
She was a member of the Weimar united Church of Christ (E&R).
Pallbearers for her funeral were John Fojt,Irddie Vornsand,Buddy Vornsand,Kerwin Vornsand,Reuben Vornsand and Jimmy Vornsand.
