She was born Jan. 15, 1917, in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Anna E. Schafer and the late Kenneth M. McMaster.
Grace was a member of the Champion Presbyterian Church, where she was a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and past president of the Ladies Aid Society. She was a member of the prayer fellowship and enjoyed knitting and quilting. Grace helped with the Mobile Meals program.
She married Clarence L. Sackett Sr. on Aug. 18, 1939.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. (Robert) Hayden; her son, Clarence L. (Linda) Sackett Jr.; her granddaughter, Tammy (David) Jeffrey; her grandson, Todd (Beth) Hayde of Pa.; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Mary J. Paul of Cuyahoga Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence L. Sackett, who passed away March 5, 1984; and two brothers, William and George.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Champion Presbyterian Church, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. David R. Black will be officiating. Interment will be at Champion Cemetery at a later date.
