Lillian “Lil” Leek Boarman, 73, of 1320 Hathaway St., Owensboro, died Thursday, February 13, 1992 at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital, She was born in Pettit, was formerly employed at V.E. Anderson Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Xavier “Zab” Boarman; a son, Fred Boarman of Owensboro; a brother, Owen Leek of Owensboro; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Christine Bristow of Mount Washington and Mrs. Mattie Heady of Owensboro. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery. Haley-McGinnis Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
