Lillian “Lil” Leek Boarman, 73, of 1320 Hathaway St., Owensboro, died Thursday, February 13, 1992 at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital, She was born in Pettit, was formerly employed at V.E. Anderson Manufacturing Co. and was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Xavier “Zab” Boarman; a son, Fred Boarman of Owensboro; a brother, Owen Leek of Owensboro; and 2 sisters, Mrs. Christine Bristow of Mount Washington and Mrs. Mattie Heady of Owensboro. Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery. Haley-McGinnis Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Right to Life of Owensboro, PO Box 1043, Owensboro, KY 42302. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
