He was born March 1, 1934 in Homer, Louisiana to Mr. and Mrs. O'Don Caraway.
He was a graduate of the University of Houston and played professional football for the New York Giants for many years.
He also worked as an Electrical Engineer for Allstates Engineer.
He moved to Canada for many years during his football career and later returned to his home in Hemphill until his death.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Caraway of Hemphill and numerous other family members and friends.
His wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
