Rose E. Francis

Mrs. Rose E. Francis, 86, 435 Grand Blvd., Half Moon Bay, died Friday at Moss Beach Rehabilitation Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Francis was a native of San Gregorio and a daughter of area pioneers Antone and Mary Enos. She had resided in Pescadero until moving to Half Moon Bay 13 years ago. She was the widow of Manuel Francis, who died in 1963.

Mrs. Francis was the last surviving charter member of Native Daughters of the Golden West Ano Nuevo Parlor 180 of Pescadero, founded about 1907.

She also was a member of the SPRSI of Half Moon Bay.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rita Barsuglia of Half Moon Bay; three brothers, Frank Enos of Half Moon Bay and George and William Enos of Fremont; a sister, Mrs. Eva Corriea of Fremont; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Native Daughters and SPRSI Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday with the Rosary at 7:45, all at Dutra-Randleman Funeral Home in Half Moon Bay. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from Dutra-Randleman with funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Pillar. Interment will be at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Pescadero.
