He also had a recurring role as Mr. Binford on "Home Improvement." Noble has appeared in more than 30 feature films, including "Up Close and Personal," "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective," "Chinatown," "Good Morning, Vietnam," "City Slickers," "City Slickers II," "The Distinguished Gentleman," "Paper Moon" and the upcoming "Blind Horizon" with Val Kilmer. In 2000 he unsuccessfully ran for a congressional seat in eastern Texas as a Republican. Nobel died of natural causes at his home in Palm Springs, California at the age of 72. (bio by: Noni)
