CROWLEY - Jack Hail, 85, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, in Fort Worth.

Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.

Jack served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was wounded during the battle of Guadalcanal. Jack devoted his life to the Lord and served as a prison minister in Texas, Mexico and South America.

Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Oleta Hail; brother, Judd Hail and wife, Clara; sister, Susan Taylor; sisters-in-law, Laverne Miller, Joyce Wagner and husband, Oscar; nieces, Evelyn Conrad and husband, Jim, Carrie Leeper and husband, Wayne; nephews, Tom Hackney and wife, Connie, Curtis Wagner and wife, Pam; great-niece, Cailey Leeper.
