A Remarkable Family JOSIAH BOLTON, father of his family, was born in eastern Tennessee, December 22, 1822 and died January 18, 1909. He was a member of the Regular United Baptist Church for 50 or more years, the last 25 years spent in preaching the gospel.
ELIZABETH STANFIL BOLTON was born November 8, 1823/1828 in eastern
Tennessee and died November 26, 1900. The parents moved to Whitley
County, Kentucky where they grew to womanhood and manhood. They were
married in 1845 and to them, 17 children were born, 15 were raised to be grown and with families. A family reunion at Bixby, Oklahoma was with eleven surviving children. Their mother was 50 years old when the youngest was born. three are preachers.
