Diane Marie Anderson of Lincoln died Dec. 27, after a life of struggle with Friedreich's ataxia.
Diane was born in West Point on Sept. 20, 1963, to Jerome and Lorraine (Rolf) Emanuel of North Bend. She graduated from North Bend Central High School in 1982 and married Gary Anderson of Fremont on Sept. 30, 1983.
Diane is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter Brittany of Lincoln; mother, Lorraine Emanuel of North Bend; mother and father-in-law, Mary and Charles Berner of Fremont; brothers and sisters, Debra Hoppe of Lincoln, Donna (Michael) Buell of Omaha; Keith Emanuel of North Bend; Jeff (Stacy) Emanuel of Lincoln, and 12 nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by father, Jerome Emanuel.
Funeral services were Dec. 30 at the Lincoln Berean Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 4654 South 132nd Street, Omaha NE 68137.
