Everett was married to Opal Villers Cross. They had two children, one daughter, Juanita Cross Pyle (Husband Richard), of Metz, one son Raymond Cross (wife Patty) of Pennsylvania.
Everett worked for Eastern JoAnn Coal Mine in Rachel.

Everett Cross, 70 of Metz, died in his home Thursday afternoon. Friends may call at the W. F. Jones Funeral Home in Mannington after 7 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Church of God of Prophecy at Metz. The body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour. The Rev. Ruth Slay will officiate and the burial will be in Mannington Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Richard and David Phyles, Nick Napalo, Ray Cross, Ronnie Villiers and Martie Anderson.
