John D.Shipe Died Sunday At Betz Nursing Home,Auburn.He was born Aug.28,1911 in Hudson to Bert and Hannah Cottrell Shipe.
Mr Shipe was a retaired forman for Warner Gear,now auburn Gear.A former Amgola resident,he was a 50 year member of Ashley Masonic Loge 614 and a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Fort Wayne.
He is survived by two sons,John E. of Auburn and Jerry of Anniston,Ala.;one daughter Dorothy N.Yoder of Toledo,Ohio
one brother;Carl Shipe on Golden,Lake;11 grandchildren;Three Step-grandchildren; fivegreat grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was Preceded in death by his first wife e.Marie Lancaster. in 1947.and by his second wile Louise Clevenger,in 1976.Also preceding were two brothers.Cecil and Bob.
Funeraal services are 11 A.M. today at Johnson Funeral Home,Hudson,with the Rev.Vern Noll Officiating.Buiral will be in Circle Hudson Masonic Services were conducted Tuesday enening by Ashley Lodge 614.
