James Seaman Casey
Birth: Jan. 28, 1833
Death: Dec. 24, 1899

Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Colonel in the United States Army. He was awarded the Medal of Honor as a Captain in the 5th U.S. Infantry for action on January 8, 1877 at Wolf Mountain, Montana. His citation reads "Led his command in a successful charge against superior numbers of the enemy strongly posted." (bio by: Don Morfe)
