Lauri Levi Aho Jr.
Lauri Levi Aho Jr., 64, of Spencer died Dec. 26, 2002, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.
He was born Dec. 18, 1938, in Fitchburg, Mass., a son of the late Lauri L. Aho Sr. and Lydia Kangas Aho. He was a pastor of the Seventh Day Advent Church in Spencer and Glenville, and was executive director of Adventist Community Services of the Mountain View Conference. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict and also was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Aho; three children, Cindy Aho of Gardner, Mass., Craig Aho of Fitchburg, Mass., and Clifford Aho of Geneseo, N.Y.; two stepdaughters, Rose Lang of Frederick, Md., and Brenda Lee Patton of Gore, Va.; six brothers and sisters, Laura Aho Elzohiri of Winchendon, Mass., Doris Thibaudea of Leominister, Mass., Donald Aho of Gardner, Mass., Harold Aho of Leominister, Mass, Sister Lillian Linde of Crown Pointe, Ind., and Edith Gonynor of Concord, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the president of Mountain View Conference of Seventh Day Adventists, Pastor Kingsley Whitsett officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Spencer. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
