Arist and Author. Was one of the nation's most accomplished and prolific artists. Awarded posthumously for painting "Sanctity of Motherhood." Wrote such books as "The Western Pony," "Frontiers of Enchantment," as well as short stores for magazines. Invented artists' campstool which was patented in 1918.  (bio by: Laurie)
