Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Privett, 77, 1224 E. Main, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. William Gillum officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Callers will be received at the mortuary from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 o'clock today, and prior to the services Tuesday.

Mrs. Privett died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon while vacationing at a lake near Wolcottville. She was a lifelong resident of Muncie and had been a seamstress.

Surviving are three sons, Charles Privett, chief of police at Portland, Bernard Privett, Muncie, and Fred Privett, Akron, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Craig, Muncie.
