Funeral rites fro Mrs. Gertrude Pearl Clevenger, 61, well-known Muncie woman who died at her home, 910 West Jackson St., yesterday evening, will be conducted at Friends Memorial Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Reverend Robert Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. Friends may call at the Parson mortuary after the noon hour Tuesday.
Mrs. Clevenger, whose death followed a lingering illness, was a native of Harrison Township. She had resided in Muncie for 41 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Order of Beaucrats and of Friends Memorial Church.
Surviving are the husband, James O. Clevenger, and two brothers, Clay Jackson, of 10 miles west of Muncie, and Chester Jackson of near Farmland.
Gertrude Jackson and James Clevenger was married on July 30th 1908 in Delaware County Indiana
