Dennis Mark Freeman, 50, of Idaho Falls, died February 1, 2003, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, of an extended illness. He was born December 5, 1952, at Blackfoot, Idaho, to Mark James Freeman and Sylvia Mary McNeil. He grew up in Ririe and attended schools there. He also attended Idaho State University and served in Army from 1971 to 1974. He married Kathleen Mary Hughes November 12, 1976, at Elko, Nevada. They made their home in Idaho Falls, where he has worked as a biomedical engineer at the hospital and worked for Bechtel with cranes and engineering. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a past President of the Russet Lions Club. He loved children and loved being a foster parent.

He was preceded in death by his parents and niece Nicole Hoover. Memorial Services were held February 7, 2003, at Wood Chapel of the Pines, Bishop Steve Hunter of Idaho Falls 24th Ward officiating, with burial in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
