Mrs. Minnie Pearl Holland

Heflin, LA - Services for Mrs. Minnie Pearl Holland, 85, will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, June 28, 1991 at the Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold, La. Officiating will be Rev. Floyd Lisenby and Rev. Don McCormick. Interment will be in Old Castor Cemetery in Castor, La. under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Ringgold, La.

Mrs. Holland was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. C. Holland and son-in-law, John Ray Heflin.

Survivors include two sons, R. C. Holland and his wife, Sallie of Heflin, La. and Douglas Holland and his wife, Elgin of Lafayette, La.; three daughters, Dorothy Hinton and husband, Talton of Minden, La., Kathleen Heflin of Sibley, the wife of deceased John Ray, and Lucy Grogan and her husband, Dexter of Shreveport; 2 sisters, Gertrude Caskey of Castor, La., and Laverne King of Shreveport, La.; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael Hinton, Billy Holland, Johnny Heflin, Danny Hinton, Donny Heflin, and Dexter Grogan III. Honorary pallbearers are also grandsons, Barry Holland, Jason Holland, and Allen Holland.
