Gordon C. Smith, 76, of 1134 Pioneer Dr., a retired employee of the bond department of the Federal Reserve Bank, died here Sunday.
Smith was a native of Nevada, Collin County, and had lived in Dallas 57 years.
He was a member of Elmwood Baptist Church and the masonic lodge.
Survivors: wife, Mrs. Delma Smith, Dallas; daughter, Mrs. Norma Jean (Marvin) Harkins, Dallas; son, Gordon K. Smith, Houston; 2 sisters, Mrs. Verna Bates of Wylie, Collin County and Mrs Ruby Jones of Portales, N.M.: six brothers, Roy F Smith and John L Smith of Dallas, Wayne T Smith of Ponca City, Okla., R.C. Smith of San Diego, Calif., Herbert Smith of Wylie, Texas; and Hubert Smith of Nevada, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lamar & Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.
