| Birth: | May 23, 1869 | | Death: | Aug. 29, 1935 |  Spanish-American War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Born in England, he served in the United States Navy as a Boatswain's Mate Second Class on board the "USS Marblehead". He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at the approaches to Caimanera, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, on July 26 and 27, 1898. His citation reads "Displaying heroism, Morin took part in the perilous work of sweeping for and disabling 27 contact mines during this period." His Medal was awarded to him on December 14, 1898.
