EDGAR ALLEN LIVESAY WAS THE SON OF LEONARD LLOYD AND IDA BELLE EPPERSON LIVESAY.
HE MARRIED IMOGENE BROOKS ON 1 JUN 1947 IN HAWKINS COUNTY, TENNESSEE. GOD BLESSED THIS MARRIAGE WITH THE FOLLOWING CHILDREN: LARRY EDGAR AND LINDA CAROLE.
MOORESBURG - Edgar Allen Livesay, age 80, Mooresburg died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Rogersville Care and Rehab. He was a member and deacon of Big Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He was a 50+ years member of the Tate Springs Lodge #438 Free and Accepted Masons. He is best remembered as the owner of the Texaco Service Station he operated for more than 40 years in Mooresburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ida Livesay and wife, Imogene (Brooks) Livesay.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Beckie (Price) Livesay, Talbott; daughter, Linda Rogers, Mooresburg; grandson, Chad Rogers, Maryville; granddaughter, Beverly McGuire, Mooresburg; great-grandchildren, Keenan Rogers and Madilyn McGuire.
Tate Springs Lodge #438 Free and Accepted Masons conducted Masonic services Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Funeral services followed with Rev. Dean Buell officiating. Graveside services were held in the Big Hill Cemetery. Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville was in charge of arrangements.
