Leslie Hughes Ridenour passed away Feb. 24, 2007 in Prineville, Ore.

He was 93 years old.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Whispering Pines Funeral Home, 185 NE 4th Street , Prineville, Ore.

Leslie was born in Mountainburg, Ark., on August 12, 1913, to John and Almeda Ridenour.

He married Violet L. Eaton on Nov. 4, 1936 in Van Buren, Ark.

Leslie retired from Hudspeth Pine in 1978 and was a part-time farmer.

His hobbies were hunting, fishing, spending time in the mountains, camping, and being with his family and friends.

Leslie is survived by: one sister Thelma Johnson of Florida; four sons, John Ridenour of Arkansas, Gene and wife Danna of Prineville, Ore., Bill and wife Ada Ridenour of Elma, Wash., Don and wife Diana of Prineville, Ore.; one daughter Louise and husband Bob Koehn of Prineville, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grand- children and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, his parents; four brothers and one sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pioneer Memorial Hospital Hospice 1201 NE Elm Street Prineville, Oregon 97754.
