DEATH OF MRS. DAYWALT

Mrs. Frances A. Daywalt passed on Sunday evening at 7:45 o'clock at the home of her son (son-in-law) and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Smulling, corner Second and West Main Streets.

Funeral services were conducted at the Home by Rev. Father McSweeney Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock.

Interment in the G.A.R. plot, Red Butte Cemetery, by the side of her husband, Funeral Director Wilkes in charge.

Frances A. Daywalt was born in Tiffin, Ohio, December 22, 1844 and had attained the ripe old age of 84 years, 4 months, and 27 days at the time of her passing.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Sherman Smulling, Aspen; Mrs. Ross Rayburn, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Lee Smulling, California; Mrs. Woodruff, Dillon, Colorado; one son, Hamilton Daywalt, Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren, Mrs. Joe Mogan, Jr. and Louis Smulling, Aspen; Mr. E. E. Bascom, Bend, Oregon; two great-grandchildren, Wendell and Eugene Mogan, Aspen.

For the past thirty years Mrs. Daywalt had resided in Aspen, the last ten years making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Smulling. She was a lady endowed with all the attributes of true womanhood and a mother in all tha the word means. With naught to say but what was good of anyone, a friend in need, she numbered all her acquaintances as friends who loved her for her true worth. She will indeed be missed by all.
