Earl Steven Butterfield, our beloved husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, grandfather and dear friend, left our home to return to his Heavenly Father, August 30, 1994.
Born May 5, 1936 to Jacob and Violet Butcher Butterfield. Married Charline Eagle, July 2, 1958; later divorced. Married Annette Sisam, May 29, 1985.
Survived by his wife, Annette; children, Floyd, Ray, Sindy (Dewayne), Karan (Jerry), Sandy (Rick), Earl, Calvin (Sarah), Jacob, Joleen and David; 21 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Carol (Frank), Laural (Jr.), Leona (Kenny), Albert, Edmond, Ervin, Arville, Leonard (Doris), Lori (Jack). Preceded in death by brother, Lavon, two sisters, Donna and Verna and parents.
Earl was a devoted husband, father, and loved his grandchildren more than life itself. They were his inspiration and he loved each and every one. He loved to fish, camp and travel every chance he was able. He loved having his wife, brothers, children, grandchildren and friends always around him to share his life adventures. He would do without to help someone in need. It will be very lonely without his love and presence. He will be missed by all.
A special thanks to the Crescent 3rd Ward for all their love and support.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3, 1994, 1 p.m., Crescent 3rd Ward, 949 East 10600 South. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
