DEATH OF MRS.C.A.PEPPLER.
The death of of Mrs.C.A.Peppler occurred on Tuesday,December 29th at Waterville, N.Y.
Evaline Lucinda Andrews was born May 25, 1852, in South Poultney, the daughter of the late Edward P. and Sarah (Williams) Andrews. The family came to Poultney village when she was about eight years of age,her father being empolyed in the store of J.J. Joslin, and the greater part of her life was spent here.
She was married to Christie A.Peppler January 1, 1901 and they resided in New Haven,Conn., until a short time before his death which occurred in September 1911.
Mrs.Peppler went to Waterville,N.Y., in the fall of 1919 and had resided there ever since.
The body will be brought to Poultney and the funeral held at the home of Mrs. S.B. Woodworth at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon.Interment will be in the Poultney cemetery.Rev. A.C.Wilson, rector of Trinity church of which Mrs. Peppler was a faithful communicant for many years, will have charge of the funeral services.
The only surviving relatives of Mrs. Peppler are two cousins, Mrs. S.B.Woodworth and one that lives in the West.
