"Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Brunt, died in her home in Samaria, Friday evening, April 20, 1945, complications of age being the cause of her death. Born December 7, 1866, in Fulton County, Ohio, she came to Samaria 58 years ago. She was married to Charles Anstead in 1902. Mr. Anstead died in 1910. In 1912, she was united in marriage to Frank Burnt, who died in 1942. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Walter B. Willis, of Gladwin, Mich. and Vivian Anstead of Samaria: two grandchildren, two step-daughters, Mrs. George Berdon of LaSalle, and Mrs. Gertie Hobart of Toledo.: one step-son, Charles Brunt of Petersburg: four step-grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Samaria, of which she was a charter member. Rev. Loren Carter of Dundee, officiated. Interment was made at the Lambertville Cemetery."
