Funeral services for Aaron Joseph Smith, well known resident of Knox County, were held Thursday afternoon. Mr. Smith passed away at his home near Munday on Wednesday morning following a brief illness.
He came to Knox Co in 1916 and engaged in farming for a living. Mr. Smith was a familiar personage in Munday spending most of his spare time in town visiting with friends. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Dora Smith and several sons and daughters.
Interment was in the Johnson Cemetery by the Mahan Funeral Home.
Note: No marker was ever placed for Aaron Joseph Smith.
