Jensine Kristine Petersen Lower was born at Hyllsted Vester Flakkebjerg Soro Denmark April 18 1870. Came to the US with her parents Peter and Ane Marie Larsen in 1881.
They came first to Omaha Nebraska, then in 1882 to Ord Nebraska. She was married Jan 1, 1896 to Josiah H Lower. To this union 10 children were born, three girls and seven boys, one of whom died in infancy. The others were all at home during their mothers last illness.
The family moved to South Dakota in the spring of 1921, locating in Tripp county, near Wewela.
