Darragh was born on December 4, 1890, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and at 5'10", and 168 lbs, he played the position of Right Wing for teams in the National Hockey league (NHL), Exhibition, St. Cup, National Hockey Association (NHA), and the OCHL. He played for the Ottawa Stewartons from 1906 to 1911, Ottawa Cliffsides from 1909 to 1910, East All-Stars from 1911 to 1912, and the Ottawa Senators from 1917 to 1921, and 1922 to 1924. Darragh died of peritonitis on June 25, 1934, at the age of 33. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1962 as a player. (bio by: K)
