- 10 Jan 1964 - CHARLIE DANIEL ROBBINS:
Charlie Daniel Robbins, 74 died Thursday night at his home, Rt. 4, Rocky Mount, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Wilson County 12 Feb 1889, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Robbins. Mr. Robbins was a farmer in the Sharpsburg Community, having retired a few years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gertie E. Robbins; six daughters, ....... five sons, ...... 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Dora Adams of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Talbot, pastor of Gospel Baptist Church, of Sharpsburg, and the Rev. Johnny Flood, pastor of Macclesfield Baptist Church, will officiate.
