Alice Thompson was the wife of Rev. James Thompson; who was the 3rd Minister of Ballywillin Presbyterian Church.

She died at the young age of 49 on the 17th day of August 1741; leaving a grieving husband and six children. Alice Thompson is buried in the Old Ballywillian Cemetery, later joined by rev. Thompson and her eldest daughter, Mary Thompson Gaston.

Underneath lie intered the mortal
remains of the Rev. James Thompson
died 15th January 1748 Aged 61

daughter, who died the 3rd June 1818
Aged 65 years.
