Alice Thompson was the wife of Rev. James Thompson; who was the 3rd Minister of Ballywillin Presbyterian Church.

She died at the young age of 49 on the 17th day of August 1741; leaving a grieving husband and six children. Alice Thompson is buried in the Old Ballywillian Cemetery, later joined by rev. Thompson and her eldest daughter, Mary Thompson Gaston.
