Carlisle, Jan. 17. - Services for Andrew G. Bear, 79, Cumberland county (sic) farmer and a former county commissioner, who died suddenly Friday afternoon, were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Plainfield Reformed Mennonite Church. Burial was in Plainfield Cemetery.

Mr. Bear was repairing a fence on his farm in West Pennsboro township when he collapsed. The body was found by a nephew, Lynn Bear, who lives with the Bear family.

He served as a county commissioner from 1911 until 1915. He was a member of the Reformed Mennonite Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Emerson Evilhock (sic), Kerrsville; Mrs. Laura Miller, York, and Miss Florence Bear, at home; a son, Calvin, Carlisle, and two brothers and four sisters.
