Elmer Malchoff
MILES CITY, MT.--- Elmer L. Malchoff, 76, of Miles City. passed away March 18, 2002. in Miles City.
He was born Aug. 17, 1925, in Superior, CO., a son of George and Katherine Varner Malchoff.
He received his education in Colorado.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army and later received his honorable discharge.
Elmer was married and later divorced.
He married Rilla Barker on Sept. 15, 1972, in Idaho Falls, ID.
The couple lived throughout the West, until settling in Miles City in 1995.
He enjoyed fishing and panning for gold.
His parents, two sisters, one brother and a grandson, preceded Elmer in death.
Survivors include his wife Rilla of Miles City, his daughter. Darlene Malchoff of New Mexico, two stepdaughters, Darleen Stone and Eleanor Hafla of Miles City; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and nine great-great-great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place in the Bullis-Graves Eastern Montana Crematory in Miles City.
Family and friends will gather t 10:45 a.m. Saturday March 30 t the Bullis graves Memorial Chapel and proceed to the Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT., for a memorial graveside service at 11 a.m.
Inurement with military graveside rites will follow.
Bullis-Graves Memorial Chapel of Miles City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
