A grave side service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hillcrest Memorial Park for Ruth Ann Snow, 93, who died Monday in a local hospital following a long illness. The Rev. Kenneth Chenowith of Pentacostal Church of God in Poplar will officiate. She was born in Kansas and lived in Porterville 51 years. She was a homemaker. Survivors included two sons, Ernest and James Poe both of Porterville; three daughters, Dorothy Anderson of Porterville, Virginia Chance of Spiro, Okla., and Ruth Turner of Los Osos; a brother, Dudley Hendrix of Poteau, Okla.; one sister, Melvina Ross of Okemah, Okla.; 36 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
