Dawn Streeper Summers, 89, of Ririe, passed away April 1, 2017, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Dawn was born December 8, 1927, in Rigby to Raymond Randall Streeper and Martha Leah Dutson. She grew up in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School. On December 2, 1947, she married Bill in Silver Bow, MT. The marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on October 20, 1995. Dawn and William made their home and raised two daughters in Ririe, where Dawn worked for Ferrell’s Clothing. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She also loved to read and bake for her family. Survivors included: daughters Diane Marie (Tim) Johnson of Rigby and Cynthia Dawn Belk of Ririe; sister Barbara (Glen) Harmon of Idaho Falls; grandson Jeffery (Wendy) Johnson; granddaughter Desiree (Robert) Palmer; great-granddaughters Brecca (Jesse) Skinner and Megan Johnson; and great-grandsons Jacob Belk, Logan Packer, and Jaxson Palmer. Preceding were granddaughter Teresa Packer and brothers Raymond Streeper Jr. and Garth D. Streeper. Funeral services held April 5th at Ririe LDS 3rd Ward, 285 2nd West. Bishop Bert Brown officiated.
