Mural Francis Campbell of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Nov. 27, 2011 following a long battle with Parkinson's at the age of 81. He was born on May 5, 1930 in Williams, IA to Earl and Katherine Campbell. Mural and his family moved to Vancouver in 1942 and he graduated from Vancouver High School in 1948.
He worked at Alcoa as a transportation mechanic for 39 years and at ACPC for six years before retiring in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, playing cards and watching sports.
Mural is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bonnie; sons, Phillip (Shen) and Timothy (Diana); daughter, Kelli (Todd) Olson; grandchildren, Andrea (Andy) Kay, Tony (Alicia) Campbell, and Karissa and Campbell Olson; great-grandchildren, Carson and Mason Kay.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., Dec. 3, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vancouver, WA.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House, 2112 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661.
