Mrs. Sarepta T. Argabright died at her home in Nemaha Monday, March 18, 1907, from the weakness and ailments consequent to old age. She has been very weak for some time, and a few days previous to her death was compelled to remain in bed, gradually growing weaker until death came.

Mrs. Argabright was one of our oldest citizens, coming to this county about fifty years ago, and has always made her home here since that time. Her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. For a great many years she has been a member of the Christian church, and lived a consistent Christian life.

Sarepta T. Lewark was born in Wabash, Ind., March 26, 1828, and at her death lacked just eight days of being 79 years old. She moved to Nemaha county about the year 1857. In 1860 she married John Argabright. To them were born four children - Geo. V., Alma D., Winfield Scott and Ernest L., all of whom are yet living except the daughter. Geo. V. lives in Red Cloud, Neb., W. S. in Nemaha precinct and Ernest L. near Bolivar, Mo. Mr. Argabright died April 29, 1882.

The funeral services were held at the Christian church Wednesday at 10 o'clock a.m., conducted by Rev. J. W. Sapp, the pastor, an intimate friend of the deeased. The body was laid at rest in the Nemaha cemetery.
