Funeral services for Marine Private First Class Preston I. Russaw, 19, of Diboll, were scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Royal Funeral Home Chapel in Nacogdoches with burial to follow at Rusk Cemetery.
PFC Russaw was killed in action, February 7, 1968 in the Vietnam war. He attended high school at Diboll before entering the service. He had been in the Marines less than a year and in Vietnam less than 6 months.
The body was brought from San Francisco, Ca. to Dallas on Feb. 25 and was brought to Nacogdoches by the Royal Funeral Home.
PFC Russaw, who grew up in Nacogdoches, had lived in Diboll for the past 3 years.
His parents are Mr. & Mrs. Preston Russaw of 406 Robert Williams, Diboll.
Services will be conducted by Royal Funeral Home and a Marine Corps group from Louisiana.
