Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Dufilho Sonnier, 60, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Opelousas with burial in Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. Jeff DeBlanc will conduct the services. Mrs. Sonnier, a resident of Norman, Okla., died Monday, March 13, 2000, in Norman, Okla. She was a computer operator. Survivors include: her husband, John Mervin Sonnier of Norman, Okla.; two sons, Chris Sonnier and his wife Donna of San Antonio, Texas, and Robbie Sonnier of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two daughters, Cheryl Sonnier of Norman, Okla., and Jenny Sonnier of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Harold Dufilho of Orting, Wash.; three sisters, Anna Stelly and husband Joe and Rose Hollier and husband Edwin, both of Opelousas, and Beverly Fontenot and husband Donald of DeRidder; and four granddaughters, Channelle Sonnier, Chynna Sonnier, Kali Sonnier and Jade Alvarado. Mrs. Sonnier was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Celeste (St. Amand) Dufilho; her mother and father-in-law, David and Virgie Sonnier; and a sister-in-law, Irma Sonnier. Visiting hours will be observed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. Saturday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Primrose Chapel of Norman, Okla.
