Rita was born and raised in Chicago, Ill., the third of five children of Paul and Martha Schulz. Until her marriage in 1952 to Louis Bohmann, Jr., she worked as a secretary. They moved to Portland where they raised their family. She was an active member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Little Flower Guild since 1961. Rita enjoyed singing, bowling, crossword puzzles, traveling with her daughter and spending time with family and friends. She was a beautiful, gentle lady with a great sense of humor. Rita is survived by her daughter, Marilou Bohmann of Portland; and her brother, Paul Schulz of Palermo, Sicily. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; and son, Steven. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10 a.m., with burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Contributions to St. Vincent de Paul Society. Arrangements made under the direction of Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes.
