S/O Elisha and Elizabeth{Betsy Steele} Bradley

On 14~Dec~1847, John Bradley, son of Elisha, died in the Mexican War at Puebla Mexico. Two Markwell Brothers who had been with John at the time of his death brought back word that John wished his brother, Robert W. Bradley, to have his worldly possessions, including his land warrant. Since Robert W. was not of age, Elisha{his father} applied for John's bounty land warrant which was issued 20~July~1849.
